ಕಬಿನಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಾಕರ್ಷಕ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮೋಡಿಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾವೇರಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಉಪನದಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕಬಿನಿ ನದಿಯ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಬಿನಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸ ಪ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ತಾಣವು ಕೇವಲ ದೃಶ್ಯಾನಂದ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿಗಳ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ  ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆನೆಗಳ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳು ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ನೀರಿನ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ವಿನೂತನ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮಧುರವಾದ ಚಿಲಿಪಿಲಿಯು ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ವಾತಾವರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಮ್ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಬಿನಿಯು ಅಚ್ಚುಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ರಾಜಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ  ಭೇಟೆಯಾಡುವ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಬಿನಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಹುಲಿಗಳು, ಚಿರತೆಗಳು, ಆನೆಗಳು, ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಗೌರ್‌ಗಳು, ಕರಡಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆವೀಡಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ನಡುವೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ರೋಚಕ ಸಫಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಬಿನಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಾಂತವಾದ ದೋಣಿ ವಿಹಾರ ನದಿಯ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತತೆಯ ಉತ್ಕಟ ಅನುಭವ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಕಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕನ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಸಹಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಬಿನಿ ಹಿನ್ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಮುಳುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಇಡೀ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ರಂಗಿನ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ತಟ್ಟೆ (ಪ್ಯಾಲೆಟ್) ಆಗಿ ರೂಪಾಂತರಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಮುಗ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
