City buses
Services run from the city bus stand to Chamundi Hill, the zoo, the railway station and out to the suburbs.
Autorickshaws
Metered and plentiful. Agree the meter before starting, or the fare if the meter is not in use.
Taxis
App-based and local taxi services both operate, and are the simplest option for day trips out of the city.
Walking and cycling
The palace, market, Jaganmohan gallery and clock tower form a compact walkable core. Cycle routes run south towards the river.
