Who runs this site

This website is published by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, for Mysuru district. The district office is at the Deputy Director Office, Hotel Mayura Hoysala Complex, JLB Road, Mysuru 570001.

What the information is for

The pages here are published for general information about visiting Mysuru district. They are not a booking service and no booking can be made through this site.

Accuracy, and what to confirm

Descriptions of places, opening hours, distances and travel advice are compiled from the department’s own records. Opening hours, entry fees, transport and event dates change, sometimes at short notice. Confirm anything your journey depends on before you travel.

Registered accommodation

Where a property is listed with a registration number, that number reproduces the district register as it stood on the date the page was published. It is a record of registration; it is not a recommendation, a rating, or a guarantee about the property. Registrations lapse and are renewed. Entries whose registration has lapsed are marked as such. Confirm a property’s current status with the district office before booking.
