What the scheme is

What M-HOME means

46 homes across six taluks are registered under the district scheme. Each is inspected and carries a registration number with an expiry date, so guests know what they are booking.

What to expect

Rooms in family homes, usually with breakfast, often in the quieter residential neighbourhoods away from the centre.

Who it suits

Longer stays, families, and visitors here for yoga courses who want a base rather than a hotel.

Partner stays are being listed

Accommodation in the district is registered with the Department of Tourism. Listings will be published here with each property’s classification, the authority that granted it and its registration number. Until then the district office holds the current register.

Every entry will show three things, so a reader can check it rather than take our word for it:

  • Classification - the grade the property holds.
  • Granting authority - who inspected it and issued that grade.
  • Registration number - and the date it runs to. A lapsed registration will be shown as lapsed, not hidden.

Until it is published, the district office can tell you what is currently verified - +91 821 242 2096.
